This method also works for a C9400. Don't forget to remove the standby SUP before performing the boot. Awesome tutorial.

Mate you really saved me. For some reason our Catalyst lost the user. It didn't exist anymore. This finally gave me a chance to restore it.

I believe that 9300's have two great features (same as the 3850s) Dockers and Per Port Packet Captures :)

Hi, I've followed your guide and I'm unable to go into configure terminal after I copy startup config to the running config.

If there were 2 or more 9300's in a stack, how would the procedure be different (if at all)?  Would you perform this on the master?

Hey, I'm quite new with cisco routers and this maybe an stupid question but how to i get to use the console? like I have a PC with serial port and all but what do i need to download to be able to use the cisco console? Knowing that would really save my life lol
