i have the old version from 2011 elph 300hs that was and still is amazing i bought it used for a basic camera but it was so amazing it was surprising so im just now finding out this is the newest version of it 360hs so it would be cool if someone made a comparison between the two cos some people say 300hs was still one of the best point n shoot canon ever made so i was curious to see how much better the new version is
Thanks for the review Peter. I have used a Power Shot ELPH camera before and now using the SX710HS. As for the hybrid auto menu which indicated creation of a digest movie, it just has a summary of the photos that you shot and saves them as a video.
If you have any problems connecting a widows10 system to set up WiFi, you can call Cannon for tech support. You will need to register the product. If you have a USB cable as I had from a previous ELPH, cannon camera, you can use it rather than the WiFi. The port is hidden on the side of the camera where the strap is located. You will need to lift up the plastic.

I have another question, how come the ELPH 330 HS uses the Digic 5 chip while the latest ELPH 360 HS only uses Digic 4+? Doesn't make sense, don't you think?
